Does your life seem to be spinning out of control? You have searched within and outside of yourself for answers on how to turn things back to normal, but everything you tried just didn’t work. On the other hand, you might have succeeded in reverting to the “normal” for a short time, and then the uneasiness and unsettledness of things returned. Perhaps you thought things would get better with the new millennium; but they didn’t. What happened to all that new age jargon about the Age of Aquarius, the golden era of peace, happiness and love?
In the Path to Truth, published in 2000, I wrote about the four levels of purification humankind and the beloved planet earth would have to go through before evolving into the Age of Aquarius. Again, let me state that we are in the midst of leaving the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age. How long is the conversion going to take? We don’t know. However, astrologers tell us that the Golden Age will be the period of time when the point of the spring equinox---where the equator and the ecliptic intersect---will recede against the backdrop of the constellation Aquarius.Level one deals with individual life issues. The energetic information regarding one’s life lessons such as –family, health, career, survival, self-esteem, relationships-- is stored in the three lower chakras (energy wheels) of the etheric body. Humankind will feel the effects of this level by the proliferation and intensity of individual and collective life lessons.
Level two involves environmental changes in the planet. We certainly have had our share of earthquakes, droughts, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
Level three involves the purification of any place collective consciousness dwells. If the foundation for governments, organizations, religions, businesses, educational institutions, health care facilities and industries is not built on truth, love, harmony and balance, they will tumble over and have to be reconstructed. As we have seen with Worldcom, Enron, and the Catholic Church.
Level four involves the purification of spiritual information. Throughout the ages information has been shared with humankind through a variety of ways. As the energy of Aquarius gains a stronghold, the information will be purer and easily received by everyone and not just a selected few.The threads that run throughout the four levels of purification are love and fear. According to Susan Jeffers, author of Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway, we will never get rid of fear. She states that, “there are two types of fear: some fear is instinctual and healthy that keeps us alert to trouble. The rest—the part that holds us back from personal growth—is inappropriate and destructive, and perhaps can be blamed on our conditioning.”
The fear-based emotions that we are experiencing today are a combination of both. The fear is exacerbated by the media, TV, and movies that keep us bounded in a world of dread and doomed. We turn on the TV or go to a movie and the main theme of the show is fear. We are constantly being bombarded through the media with fear thoughts about our transportation system, mail system, financial institutions and about our homeland.
According to the Law of Attraction, we attract to us what we love or fear. The more you fear, the more fear-based experiences you will attract to you. Not to say you shouldn’t be aware of what is happening in the world. The dilemma is that during all this turmoil, you have to make a choice to live in fear or love. It’s not easy. Your reaction to events determines your life conditions.
Those who choose the path of love will promote teamwork, balance and harmony for all. Although James Redfield’s The Tenth Insight is a work of fiction, it gives a wonderful picture of how the world of fear and the world of love will evolve. Here are some things you can do to help you choose the world of love.
1. Establish a spiritual foundation in your life.
2. Re-enforce and keep your faith by reading Holy Scriptures: My favorites are The Lord’s Prayer, Psalm 91, The Gita, and the Unity Prayer of Protection3. Call on and work with the unseen forces of nature, such as angels, spirit guides and the Great White (Light) Brotherhood.
4. Choose not to buy into the fear factors. Release the beliefs that keep you
stuck in fear.

Now that my child rearing days are past and my employment days are over, I can
truly begin to pursue this passion of mine, writing. I will keep writing my
true-to-life stories so my family and friends may get a chuckle, shed a tear
or two or be nudged into thing about many seldom-discussed subjects. Certainly,
God provides the blessings that continually flow from my pen and I am deeply
grateful.

Aging is not for the weak, not for the selfish, most of all, not for cowards.
It is difficult but can be, with a firm foundation and preparedness, a slower, still-learning, wonderful, warm time of life where blessings flow and true living begins.Now is the time to ruminate on the past, to do the many things you always wanted to do, to learn, to forgive, to truly master living one day at a time without hurry or aggravation or faltering.
Now is the time to take your time!
Husbands, wives, parents, friends, even children may have died along the way leaving a soul-emptiness that you felt you couldn’t bear.
If you’re able to reach out to embrace others to include in your relationship, even this can be borne keeping the memories of deceased loved ones locked, lovingly in your heart.
Lifestyles change and, if you’ve been a flexible person, you’ll change with them. If a steadfast person, you will stay right where you are only nodding to the change. Some activities may need to be left behind and new, slower-paced ones chosen.There are many, many new activities to learn. Enjoy your new achievements.
Health does begin to fail, however, if you’ve done your best to stay as healthy as you possibly could during the before stages, with a bit of understanding and a stiff upper lip, that, too, can be borne with dignity and grace. Nurturing the strength of spirit shields you during ill health. Be gentle with yourself. Hold on!
In Desiderata, it is stated, and I believe, “With all its harm, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful, strive to be happy.”
