Dear Readers,
As far back as I can remember I have always been
a truth seeker and student of metaphysical philosophies. Just as my interest
in spirituality started at a very early age so did my passion for writing. My
current book, Life is Never as it Seems, published by Genesis Press
will be in all major bookstores in August of this year. You may also pre-order
it online now.
I am so excited about this novel because of its
uniqueness. Once you read it, I think you will agree. Full of spirituality and
the supernatural, this sometimes funny, thought-provoking story that takes place
in the hot steamy streets of Washington, D.C., during the summer of 1967, will
take you on a whirl-wind journey through the nitty-gritty realism of life and
survival.
The main character, Lindy Lee, is coming of age
as a woman whose life has always been haunted by a secret that she, as a little
child, was forced to keep until that fateful summer. Lindy is caught in the
cross-fire between the traditional religious, cultural and social beliefs of
her Christian family and the esoteric doctrines of a group of trans-religionist
seekers called the Awakeners.
I hope you will enjoy Life is Never as It
Seems, first in a series of three, and spread the word by recommending
it to family, friends, and others. To find out about my book signings and tour
go to www.pathtotruth.com. Information
will be posted in late July.
Numerology: The Perfect Day, July 7, 2005 (07/07/07)
July 7, 2005 is the Perfect Day in Nature. In numerology this is determined
by the single digit of the month, day and year. The month is 07, the day is
07 and the year adds up to 07. Just add the numbers of the year together to
get a single digit---2+0+0+5=7. If we take it one step further, the numbers
of the month, day and year could be expressed as 777. However, in numerology,
we always reduce everything to a single digit. In this case 7+7+7 equals 21,
and the 2+1 are added together to equal 3. What significance does this have
for you? It is a day to create and express inner harmony. It requires two simple
but powerful actions: meditating and living with an open heart. This means getting
up on the morning of July 7, 2005, and making a commitment to yourself that
during your busy day you will stop for seven minutes three times that day to
focus your attention within either through meditation or just being quiet. It
will mean greeting each other with love. If just one tenth of humanity on July
7, 2005, would do this very simple process of going within to the Omnipresent
Spirit, we would move from the struggles of the physical reality to the blissful
state of love and harmony, thereby raising the vibratory frequencies of the
planet and ourselves. This is a day to reach for the high spiritual vibration
of 777. You can read more about Perfect days at www.pathtotruth.com.
Shamans know that everything is alive, that Spirit exists in everything, the bear, the wind, the mountain, and the river. They also believe, as all of man once did, that the aliveness of nature operates in a state of balance. The shamanic healer understands the universe and that all within it exists in a state of balance.
When things get out of balance, my role as a shamanic healer is to support the individual and community to achieve emotional, physical, mental and spiritual balance through ritual and ceremony. Nature and the spirits of nature play an important and valuable role in restoring balance through ritual and ceremony.
Ever have those days when you are feeling out of sync or a little off kilter? When I am feeling this way and I stop for a quiet moment, I can hear my inner voice say, “Get to nature for healing.” When I get this feeling, I will either take a walk in the park, hike, or sit beneath my favorite tree in meditation. After spending valuable and necessary time in nature, I feel balanced, energized and reconnected with Spirit.
Healing is allowing divine love and truth into those areas of our life that are closed, hidden, hardened or denied existence. Healing moves us to being open, unmasked, softened and accepting. To be healed is to be joyful, peaceful, loving, and in harmony. Healing brings everything back to a state of balance, the middle way.
There are other ways Mother Nature helps us in our healing. Does the onset of spring with spring flowers and the birds singing bring a sense of joy and aliveness to your spirit? Remember when that first snow shower brought a sense of peace and wonder?
Planting seeds and maintaining a garden is good for getting grounded. New moon meditations are great for cleansing emotional wounds and negative energies. If you are feeling like you are ready to explode and need someone to talk to, here’s a ritual. Find a tree that resonates with you, hug it and tell it all of your worries. The tree will listen without judgment or a hidden agenda. And if you listen quietly, the spirit of the tree will give you guidance.
Nature is willing and able to support each of us in restoring and maintaining our sense of balance. So the next time you are feeling a little off center or out of sorts, smell some flowers, dance in the park, or close your eyes and envision yourself walking barefoot along a beach. As you listen to the waves crashing gently on the shore, image the receding waters taking your troubles out to sea. Peace. Tranquility. Restored balance. © 2005 Anthony L. Farmer

Copper helps us wake up physically and emotionally. It helps us overcome passivity, lethargy and exhaustion by balancing the emotional and physical self. Copper also helps to increase our self-esteem. As we feel better about ourselves, we find more energy to move about and be relaxed. It can increase our ability to channel by enhancing our intuition. Copper can help to clarify our thoughts and assist in transmitting our thoughts even over a long distance.
Copper works well as an energy conductor. Most buildings are wired with copper
wire in the electrical system. Our bodies run on electricity. Our overall health
can be enhanced when we have the proper amount of copper in our systems. This
helps our personal electricity to flow more easily, enhancing overall body performance.
Copper works most effectively with the first and second charkas. It assists
with our grounding to mother Earth. Sexual instability can be brought into balance
with an increase of our daily supplement. It helps with the cleansing of the
liver and kidneys by supplying more oxygen to the weakened organ and by correcting
its vibration to be more in sync with Mother Earth.
If you feel that you could use a lot of copper to help correct a physical problem,
we suggest that you purchase a copper bracelet or other copper jewelry. We do
not supply this type of jewelry. We do have small samples of raw copper from
Michigan that can be held during your meditation or to make an elixir. We suggest
that you not use pennies as a copper source. Circulated coins have had a large
opportunity to collect negativity and germs.
If you would like to try a sample of copper, write or call Jim for an appointment,
TreasuresFTEarth@aol.com, 410-404-9382.
The prices range from $6 to $30. Open House on July 16 and 17, from 10-4pm.
