Angels All Around Us

The turn of the century has come and gone and so has the madness surrounding Y2K. You can now safely say that the world did not end. The world is still faced with wars, famine, civil strife, heinous crimes and environmental hazards. You might have thought that with the change of the century and the ushering in of the Age of Aquarius the world would be a better place to live. First, no one is quite sure when the Age of Aquarius will ready start. The world will not change overnight. Instead this yang energy will offer humankind the choice to change their perception, which changes conscious beliefs to create harmony, love, truth and balance. Now to help us get to a higher level of consciousness are magnificent messengers of God, angelic beings. Ok, already some of you are doubtful. For those who wear the big "D" on their chests, I need you to relax, breath in the gift of God and open your eyes and mind to the possibility that angels do exist and are not solely mythological characters of the Bible or of someone’s imagination.

It was only a few years ago, that I became deeply involved with the angelic realm. It was through a series of synchronicities that I awakened to these extraordinary beings and discovered that their purpose is to help humankind. Angels love us unconditionally and when you work with them you learn how to give and receive love unconditionally. However, I found that most people are reluctant to talk about angels. They refer to them only in the context of miracles.

In fact, most think that they are not worthy of angelic help. With the television sitcom, Touched by an Angel, Oprah’s Angel Network, the Internet and other media and print information, angels are being recognized as a support system to help us work through fear.

Following is a reprint of an article that I wrote for the Angel Corner of Unity of the Nation’s Capital newsletter.

How to Meet and Work with Your Angels

You don’t have to be a saint or an arduous student of Angelology to meet and work with your angels. However you do have to have the desire, awareness and belief in their beingness to meet and work with them. What are the functions of angels? Angels have chosen the path of service, which is why we perceive them as messengers and servants of God. They minister to humans by being carriers of prayers, guardians, protectors and teachers. According to angelologists there are literally trillions of angels. And just think, they are waiting for you to reach out to them and invite them into your life. Your guardian angel accompanies you throughout your life on the earth’s plane. Besides your guardian angel there are specialized angels to help you such as the angel of love, angel of birth, the angel of healing and the angel of Arts just to name a few. Start right now at this moment to acknowledge your angel (s) by giving thanks to God for their presence in your life. In fact, when you do your daily meditation/prayers always include a statement of gratitude for your angelic beings. By doing this you are reinforcing your belief in their existence and powers. Angels will make their appearance to you in many different ways: a thought, a feeling, a touch, a smell, a voice, a book, or a person. They have the ability to manifest in different forms. Talk to your angels. Ask for their assistance. Then let go and let them do their job. Your job is to believe and to trust in them. They never interfere with your free will. Don’t be discouraged if you feel that you are not receiving any spiritual guidance. You are, you just might not recognize it! It takes a little time for our consciousness to adjust to this higher level of energy. Remember that angels and guides often communicate with us through subtle signs and impressions. It is up to us to have faith and to take the time to stop and listen for the messages of spirit. Oh, don’t forget to send them love and don’t be surprised when you get love back in ways that you would never imagine.

  Feng Shui: The Feng Shui of Poverty Eradication

Feng Shui, the Chinese art of placement and arrangement, has been said to be the solution for all the ills of life. The greatest ill or "dis-ease" of mankind the world over is that of poverty. Poverty or lack implies being disconnected from the Source of supply. The true purpose or end product of Feng Shui is to restore heaven on earth by teaching a person how to make the connection to the Source by being aware of the 8-lifestyle categories covering every facet of life. These categories are career & purpose; helpful people; children and ideas; marriage and relationships; fame and fortune; money and wealth; family health and ancestors; and knowledge and self-actualization. All life experiences and pursuits can be placed in these 8 categories. One of the most powerful forces on earth to use to get rid of poverty is Holistic Feng Shui. Why is this so? Holistic Feng Shui tells us the time and place where all furnishings and artifacts are to be placed in order to achieve the full measure of one’s destiny. The environment cannot be left out of the equation because we are the products of our heredity and environment. The first requirement of Feng Shui is to clear all clutter from the Spirit, mind, body and environment of the person. As soon as the mind is cleared of negative thoughts and clutter, the body and environment will reflect the new state of mind. For example, when the interior and exterior spaces of a house are set up properly, wealth is magnetized to the person occupying the house. Abundance comes in the form and amount in which the person can handle. Today Feng Shui is one of the fastest growing fields in America, second only to the computer industry. Its popularity is unparalleled. When I send my students to the libraries and bookstores to get books on Feng Shui there are hardly any on the shelves. It is as if there is an unconscious hunger now being made evident for this 6,000-year-old mystical wisdom. Feng Shui teaches us that money alone cannot obliterate poverty from our lives. It takes a free Spirit and an uncluttered mind, body and environment all working together to bring about a permanent prosperity change. Get busy and eradicate any lack in your life, then help others.
